The gameplay of Shoot the Apple is simple. Using a cannon, you fire dolls at an apple to pass each level. The challenge in Shoot the Apple is to accurately aim and fire the cannon through the different environments.
Shoot the Apple requires precise angles and power in the early stages. Later in the game, Shoot the Apple adds in different variables like a movable cannon or complex environments. Using quick reflexes is also necessary in hitting the apple with the least amount of dolls.
Visuals in Shoot the Apple are simple and cartoon in presentation. The music is a bit forgettable.
Shoot the Apple supplies an interesting puzzle game, but can get repetitive even with over 150 levels.
